FAQ – What do I do if I have an off-hours project emergency?
If you have a project emergency outside of regular business hours please contact us immediately. If we do not answer please leave a message detailing the nature of the emergency. We will contact you ASAP with a solution. Specifically, we excel for you in emergency situations and make it a point to come to your rescue.

FAQ – Do you have stock on _____?
We are frequently asked if we have stock on many hard to find products. The answer is usually, and often surprisingly, yes! Additionally, if or when we don’t have what you need in our stock we can either source the material from our large network of vendors, or we can manufacture the cable for you from scratch. Often, we can manufacture a custom cable in just a matter of days!
FAQ – How fast can you make _____?
When it comes to manufacturing cable and wire quickly, we bring a lot of value to the table.
- First, we make many 300 Volt Cables in just a few days. We have made these cables as quickly as 1 business day…
- Furthermore, we manufacture 600 Volt cables in just 7-10 business days when delivery really matters on your project. Truly, when it comes to manufacturing quality cable with speed there is a reason our slogan is “Because You Require Quality, Quickly! ®”
FAQ – Does 1X Technologies Custom Cut Wire & Cable?
Yes. Many of our Wire & Cable Products are stocked on bulk cutting reels. When ordering from a cutting reel, simply let us know the length you require and we will cut it to exactly what you need, and quickly!

FAQ – What is the biggest size cable you carry?
FAQ – What is your Freight Allowed Policy?
The easy answer is that orders over 5000 lbs are typically shipped Free, or “freight allowed“. However, we always make an effort to offer our wire & cable quoted as Freight Allowed. Specifically, when we are in a competitive bidding situation and you require “apples to apples” quotes we often break our shipping cost down as a line item. We do this to help you make an informed decision and it helps us win more business.
FAQ – What types of Products do you Carry?
We carry a very broad range of specialty wire & cable products. For example, we sell everything from Belden Equals, to High-Temperature Wire, to extra large sized MCM Copper Cable in a variety of different constructions. Additionally, we also carry specialty connectors and other cable accessories. Furthermore, if you’ve searched high and low and can’t find what you need, we’ll make the size you require and with maximum speed!
FAQ – When do you charge Sales Tax?
Specifically, 1X Technologies only charges sales tax if we have Nexus within the state your business or job is located. Nexus means “Sufficient Physical Presence”. The U.S. Supreme Court held in National Bellas Hess v. Department of Revenue (1967) and Quill Corp. v. North Dakota (1992) that states may not collect taxes on sales in a state from retailers that do not have a physical presence in the state. For example, if your job is in Wyoming where our headquarters is located, you would be required to pay Wyoming sales tax unless you have tax exempt status. Conversely, if your ship to address is within a state we do not have a Nexus we will not charge tax. It will then be up to you to determine and pay your local “Use tax“.
FAQ – Does 1X Technologies provide contract or volume pricing?
Yes. No doubt, we offer discounts for volume that can be substantial to your bottom line. For example, we were recently able to save the Army Corps of Engineers nearly 50% of their bottom line on Belden Equals. FAQ – How long does it take to process my order?
Every order situation is unique. However, most orders are processed and shipped same day so long as they are in before noon. Furthermore, this obviously depends on many factors including how many cuts your order requires, and how many reels you’ve ordered.
FAQ – Which payment methods are accepted by 1X Technologies?
In Short, we accept payment nearly any way you want to send it… Here are just some of the ways you can pay for your order:
- Credit Cards like Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express.
- Cash or Check.
- Wire Transfer.
- EFT – Electronic Funds Transfer.
- Western Union Money Order.
- Net 21 Credit Terms or specially negotiated credit terms.

FAQ – How quickly can I get my order?
When ordering, we always ask you when you require your order delivered. We do this to ensure your success, and to make sure we are keeping you happy. More than 80% of our orders are delivered within 1 to 2 business days. Additionally, over 90% of our orders are delivered within 3 business days!

FAQ – Are your products Made in the USA?
Yes. Anything we manufacture is made in the USA, and we will be happy to provide a “Buy American” form for those products. However, there are some products we have made for us, specifically some of our Category Cables from Asia, as well as many European cables from the UK, which are not “Buy American” approved. We will always notify you in the case we are offering a product that is not “Buy American”, and will always try to offer a domestic product first. We believe that Made in the USA means something special, so we will continue to manufacture our cables here in the United States providing jobs for not just the people within our company, but also all the vendors with whom we do business.
